All vehicles are provided to customers with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. If the vehicle is not returned full, the cost of the missing fuel plus a €15 service fee will be charged
Is there a mileage limit and where am I allowed to go?
The rental price includes 300 kilometers for each day of rental. For example, if you rent a car for one day, you'll have 300 km available; for a 5-day rental, you'll have a total of 1500 km. While it is possible to take the vehicle outside of Italian territory, please note that there will be an additional cost of €15 per day for foreign insurance coverage. This policy is designed to provide flexibility for longer trips while ensuring proper insurance coverage outside of Italy
Are there any driver restrictions or additional costs included in the insurance?
Our insurance policy does not impose limitations on drivers and there are no additional costs for multiple drivers. However, it is crucial that anyone driving the vehicle carries their original passport and driving license with them at all times. Local police do not accept photocopies or digital images; failure to present original documents can result in substantial fines. Additionally, to be eligible to drive, the driver must have held their driving license for at least one year. This policy ensures compliance with local regulations while providing flexibility for different drivers to operate the vehicle
What types of vehicles do you offer for rental, and do you provide chauffeur services?
We offer a range of vehicles for rental including cars, 9-seater minivans, scooters, and more. However, please note that we do not provide chauffeur services. Our selection is designed to cater to various transportation needs, whether you are traveling solo, with family, or in groups. By focusing on self-drive rentals, we ensure that our clients have the flexibility and freedom to explore at their own pace
What should I do in case of an accident?
In the event of an accident, we advise against signing any documents at the scene. Instead, take photos of the front and back of the other driver's license, the insurance document of the other vehicle, and the license plate of the other vehicle. Also, photograph the damage to both vehicles and the scene of the accident to capture the dynamics of the incident. In case of an emergency, you should contact the police at 112 and the ambulance service at 118. These steps are crucial for accurately documenting the incident and ensuring your safety and legal protection
What are the insurance conditions included in the rental and the options for excess reduction?
Our basic insurance is always included in the rental price. For vehicles up to 5 seats, the damage and theft excess is €2,000, while for minivans and other special vehicles, it is €3,000.
- For drivers under the age of 28, we offer the option to reduce the damage excess from €2,000 to €800 for an additional fee of €30 per day. However, this option is not available for minivans.
- For drivers over the age of 28, with a supplement of €30 per day, it is possible to obtain comprehensive insurance for vehicles up to 5 seats, with a €0 excess. For 7 and 9-seater minivans, the excess is reduced from €3,000 to €800.
There are no additional insurance options for scooters.
Important: The comprehensive insurance does not cover tires, glass, and interiors in any case. Additionally, even with comprehensive insurance, in the event of an at-fault accident, the client must pay €200 plus VAT for the initiation of the insurance claim process
What is the minimum age requirement to rent a vehicle, and are there any additional costs for young drivers?
The minimum age to rent a vehicle is 18 years. However, you must have held a valid driver's license for at least one full year. For certain engine sizes, a minimum of three years of driving experience is required. There are no additional fees based on the renter's age
